Grant by the Citizens of Boston in appreciation for his service to the United States, with engraved bookplates to the front pastedowns bearing Grant's name and the date of January 1, 1866. With the later bookplate of American actor Glenn Ford to first volume. – Here offered from the collection of Scott Murphy.
Condition
Bindings with some light chipping and scuffing to extremities, a couple of hinges very slightly cracked but all volumes intact, contents clean, overall Very Good.
