WWII Nazi German lot to include 1) Set of WWII Nazi German RAD cufflinks that are expertly crafted and made of gilded brass with both toggles working perfectly and to the front RAD emblem of an upright, pointed spade head with a mobile swastika to its center and dual sheaves of wheat projecting diagonally upwards from its base. The basis of the Reichsarbeitsdienst, (National Labor Service), dates back, at least, to 1929 with the formation of the AAD, Anhalt Arbeitsdienst, (Anhalt Labor Service), and the FAD-B, Freiwillingen Arbeitsdienst-Bayern, (Volunteer Labor Service Bavaria). Shortly after Hitler’s appointment as Chancellor, (January 30TH 1933), the NSDAP consolidated these, and other labor organizations into the NSAD, Nationalsozialist Arbeitsdienst, (National Socialist Labor Service), under the control of Reichsarbeitsführer Konstatin Hierl. On June 26TH 1935 the NSAD was re-designated RAD. In July 1935 RAD service became compulsory, with all German citizens between 19 and 25 years of age required to enlist for a six month term. 2) ISSUE CHOCOLATE CONTAINER. Roughly, 90mm diameter, 22mm tall, cardstock container with an orangish/tan printed, removable top lid with white script, and a white printed bottom with orangish/tan script. The top lid features white concentric lines radiating outwards from the center towards the outer edge. The outer edge of the top lid has the outline of two sets of dual oak-leafs with a single acorn to each, the trade name in Gothic script, "Scho-ka-kola", and additional Latin script, "Die Stärkende Schokolade", (The Invigorating Chocolate).
