Condition report:
The painting is in good overall condition. Craquelure is present across the surface but appears stable at present. Examination under UV light reveals a milky green varnish across the composition which makes it difficult to inspect. Apart from inpainted fleckes in upper left corner, it is assumed that the purple recesses are the degradation of the varnish rather than restoration.
Frame: 18 1/2 x 16 x 2 1/2 in.
