Description
Three Chinese blue and white jars dating from the 17th or 18th century. The first jar has a dragon and a phoenix flying among clouds on a white ground. The second jar has a crane in a lotus pond scene on a blue ground. The third and final jar has guardian lions on a ge glaze ground; it has a 6-character mark on the bottom and a wave band on its shoulder.
Dimensions are: the first and largest jar measures 5 3/4 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches wide, 14.6 cm X 13.3 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The first jar has a repaired star crack to its lower body, and there are many star cracks to the interior that are not visible to the exterior. The second jar is in overall good condition. The third jar has a chip to the rim. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
