This lot contains a set of 10 larger coral plates and 6 smaller plates, all dating from the late 19th century. The larger set all feature an orchid and a brief inscription with a 4-character mark on the bottom and 4 bats around the exterior. The group of smaller plates is comprised of 3 plates with Shou medallions, orchids, and 2 sets of inscriptions with a 6-character mark on the bottom, a plate with 3 dragon roundels, and 2 with flowers and a brief inscription.

Dimensions are: 1 1/4 inches tall X 6 3/4 inches wide, 3.18 cm X 17.15 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Eleven are in overall good condition. One of the larger plates has minor abrasions, another has one hairline, and another has a small chip to the rim. The dragon roundel plate has a hairline and a small chip. The Shou medallion plates have wear to the surface and 1 has a chip, hairline, and multiple areas of repairs and overpainting.
