Item Details
Description
A Chinese jade plaque dating from the 18th or 19th century carved with a pair of pomegranates on one side and four characters on the other. The four characters read "Liu Kai Bai Zi" or "pomegranates present abundant offspring."

Dimensions are: 2 1/8 inches tall X 2 inches wide X 3/16 inches thick, 5.4 cm X 5.08 cm X 0.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Previously from the collection of the owner of China House Inn Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
