Condition
Please note that this work has been examined under ultraviolet light but not outside of its frame.
Examination with ultraviolet light reveals a narrow strip of fluorescence to the edge of the figure's right arm (measuring approximately 10 cm. in length) with two further linear areas to the impasto, below the medallion and along the extreme lower edge.
The canvas has been lined and there is some minor surface dirt to the work.
Taking the above into consideration, the work appears to be in good condition.
