BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Moscow in 1904.He quit his medical education and studied at the Leningrad Fine Arts Academy. After graduating from this school he attended the portrait and landscape department of Paris Academy of fine arts.He worked as an archaeologist and sculptor in the Persepolis excavations between 1932 and 1936. He opened exhibitions in Shanghai, where he was in 1936-1956, and attracted the attention of Chinese art circles He came to Turkey in 1956 he lived in Istanbul until 1969, after this date he settled in Ancara. He participated in group exhibitions at home and the broad he organized about 50 solo exhibitions in Turkey.His works have been included in museums in private collections of cities such as Amsterdam, New York and Washington.Especially the paintings in the neo-classical understanding reflecting the life and environmental culture of the far east are striking.
