Description
Founded in Chicago in 1869, the canned-goods company we know today as Libby's was originally Libby, McNeill and Libby. This is a black and white image, probably a lithograph, of a delivery wagon, with the name Libby, McNeill and Libby emblazoned on the side, drawn by a team of six horses. The harnesses of the horses bear the Libby script logo that is still in use today. Framed in dark oak wood and glass (loosely), the finished size is 21-1/2 x 15-1/2 inches.Date: Country (if not USA): State: IllinoisCity: ChicagoProvenance:
