France, a mind 19th century ormolu figural mantel clock, the case decorated with stylized scallop shells, beading, fruit and foliage, the top with gadrooned and beaded edge and figures flanking a table with exotic, fringed covering, to the right the bearded palmist in fur trimmed robe and hat, reading the right hand of a young woman in a long dress with puff sleeves, roman numeral white enamel dial, blued steel hands, and 8 day, two train pendule de Paris movement with silk thread suspension, signed "Pons" and "Baullier & Fils Paris"
Condition
gilding good, with minor loss and discoloration, small ornament at left broken from main casting, the detached piece included with the lot, dial with filled losses at center and a few cracks, minute hand an incorrect replacement, movement ticks and strikes, minor oxide on some steel components, pendulum an incorrect replacement ACCESSORIES: Pendulum, Winding Key, Broken Ornament
