Gregory Wilhelmi (1943 - ): A master of light and color who combines the two in creating majestic landscapes full of movement from rushing waters and blowing trees. Wilhelmi also paints cityscapes which play more to the emotions of the viewer. He studied Montana State University and The University of Denver before becoming a faculty member at the Colorado Institute of Art. Wilhelmi enjoys the outdoors and finds endless inspiration from the land, whether traveling or in his native Montana. Today his works are part of many prestigious public and private displays, where they are enjoyed by critics and collectors alike.
