N.B. Hong Kong artist Nancy Chu Woo complemented her studies in traditional Chinese ink and brush techniques under Lingnan School masters Zhao Shao'ang and Yang Shanshen with undergraduate and graduate art degrees from Cornell University and Columbia University. She mixes and matches the materials and techniques of contemporary Western art and traditional Chinese painting to create richly layered and vibrantly hued compositions.
