Henry Rolle was a 17th-century British judge who served the Court of Kings Bench. Like many judges, Rolle wrote and kept case reports of his time serving the kings court which were published later after his service time. These were not published until 1675, years after his death; however, the number of cases featured in this report is extensive – cases from corporation conduct to murder trials.



It should be noted that this collection of reports was endorsed by the great English jurist Mathew Hale, who included a prefatory message for this first edition, claiming it to be very good.
