Description
A beautiful leaded glass lamp with rose pattern by John Morgan and Sons, New York, c. 1905. The 19” diameter leaded glass shades features a rich cream colored background with green streaks, decorated with red, painted roses, and green leaves. The glass in the roses has various shades of red, pink and white, and are artfully painted to create a three-dimensional rendering of a rose. The leaves are streaked with greens, yellows, browns and reds. The shade is in very good condition, with a tight crack running the length of one of the roses. The shade rests on an original decorated John Morgan base. The base features wonderful metalwork, with detailed leaves gracing the top of the platform. The base retains its original two sockets and acorn pulls. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 22 - 3/4" x 19 - 1/2" x 19 - 1/2".
