TWO JOHN GRINSELL & SONS STERLING SILVER MOUNTED GLASS BARWARE ITEMS, BIRMINGHAM, CIRCA 1910, comprising a George V claret jug mounted and impressed "J.G&S" alongside anchor, lion, and "F" hallmarks, the hinged cover with an angular shaped spout and handle reversing to additional lion and "F" hallmarks and "9378" on the interior of the hinge, above a plain bulbous body and star cut base, height: 7 3/4"; a Late Victorian decanter mounted with a hinged ball cap and impressed "J.G&S" alongside a lion, "R," and horizontal anchor hallmarks, opening to a gilt interior and additional clear glass ball stopper surmounting the heavy rectangular cut glass body featuring geometric fans radiating from opposing corners highlighting a diagonal clear half column, reversing to a star cut base, height: 8"; accompanied by a tubular glass cocktail shaker, the silver caps at either end releasing to serve as glasses and revealing a ball screw cap stopper, length: 8 1/2". The cut glass in good condition, with general wear such as scuffs and scratches, and minor clouding throughout. No apparent cracks, chips, or repairs. Sterling silver mounts with a few dents.
