Fine Chinese 18/19th Century White Jade ovoid Plaque well carved with 5 Bats in Clouds and a stylized "Shou" Character center; now mounted on a later hinged silvered Bronze Box incised with "100 Boys" covered with a transparent blue glaze, the base marked "CHINA". Width of White Jade 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm.). Height of box 2 3/8 inches (6 cm.).

The Jade in good condition, light wear to blue enamel at edges of bronze, the inside bronze with natural age related discoloration.
