17/18thC Silver Cambodian Buddha--though this fellow has strong influence from Laos. Very high percentage silver, thickly cast over a clay core. This type is often very thin silver that can be easily bent--this one cannot be bent at all and is quite heavy for his size. He has very big Laos-style ears--an unusual feature that gives him an endearing look. Quite rare. Stands 2.75 inches tall. From a collection of small silver Cambodian Buddhas purchased many years ago as a group.
