Larger 24 hour numbers surround the perimeter of the clock face. Inside, there is a smaller 8-day date function that advances each day, or can be set manually using a small button above the larger winding knob. It is marked BU Aero, U.S. Navy, Waltham on the dial. This metal cockpit clock has been mounted on a handmade clear base, likely made out of resin, to make it more practical for modern use. Both visually appealing and functional, this former military clock would look striking on a mantelpiece or bedside table.
