This oil painting is signed by the Post-War artist Cindia Sanford-Garte (American, b. 1952) who studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, and has been exhibited at various galleries throughout the Northeast. This particular painting, entitled Serenity, is signed in the lower right, and dated (1994) and titled on verso. It features beautiful washes of color that come together to depict a serene sunrise. It has a simple black frame. Would be a peaceful addition to a bedroom.
