The board is flat and is backed by a wooden panel. The paint surface is slightly dirty with a very light layer of surface dust. There is minor frame abrasion visible along the extreme edges. Upon inspection under ultraviolet light, the painting fluoresces unevenly, though all of the pigments appear to be in the hand of the artist. There are no visibly apparent signs of inpainting or other forms of restoration.
