SERPELL BISCUIT TIN IN THE FORM OF A HORSE-DRAWN

Item Details

Description

Likely c. 1905. It is both printed and embossed with the Union flag on top of the ambulance and has a recumbent soldier looking out the back. The soldiers are from the Boer War period, and thus predates the First World War. Unusual to get tins from this company, based in Reading as were Huntley & Palmer, the better known company. Looks to be all original, there are a few scuffs and scratches all over, but generally very presentable. Condition: (Good). Dimensions: 6 - 1/4" x 4 - 1/4" x 3 - 1/2".
