Description
A group that includes a pewter vessel with a pouring spout and removable lid with carrying handle dated 1794 and marked HI-E in a shield, and a pewter tankard with a figural lid holding a shield marked ‘Prinz Eugen Von Savoyen, 1699.’ The body of the tankard also has a relief bust of the Prince. The tankard is probably from the 19th century. Dimensions are: the tankard measures, 11 1/2 inches tall X 5 inches wide, 29.21 cm X 12.7 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are several dents to the pewter vessel. The tankard has a dent in its side and to the lid. Provenance: From a private Ashburn, VA collection.
