Chinese Qing Dynasty Guangxu gilt SuangShi Calligraphy over blue glazed Porcelain Reward Vase. The porcelain potted in reward shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, straight cylindrical neck, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in blue base color which contrast against gold fine color, depicted of flying Fu bats surrounded SuangShi Double Happiness calligraphy and enclose with auspicious pattern. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed gold script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rectangle line. Made in The Years GuangXu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
