Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Blue on Yellow Glazed Lotus Porcelain Celestial Bottle Vase On Carved Hardwood Stand. The porcelain potted in celestial shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, straight cylindrical neck, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in yellow base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of lotus flowers bloom interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. It also represents long life and honour. The lotus flower is depicted in Chinese art, poetry and architecture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
