Stunning, Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Reign Period, Yongzheng blue and white tangled dragon vase bottle. blue and white porcelain amphora vase. Potted with a bulbous lower body, gently tapper the faceted shoulder, with two tangled dragons ears flanked on the upper mouth rim down to shoulder, elevated the tall cylindrical neck, raised upon flat splayed foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in deep blue underglaze base color which contrast against the gilt and Wucai design color. Wucai or five-color shades and tones, brightly painted in Wucai design, Opaque colors around the exterior, between the filling motif decorated in colorful vivid sgraffito ground of uptala. The main body delicately fine depicted with three part, each part banded with emerging thick white rings, adorned with various flowers blooms called The Three Friends of Winter or Suihan Sanyou, interspersed with scrolling interlocking tendril. The neck decorated in six round panel stack, adorned with various flowers blooms and auspicious pattern. The Three Friends of Winter, also known as Suihan Sanyou, Saikan Sanyu or Sehansam-u, is an art motif that comprises the pine, bamboo, and plum. The Chinese observed that the pine, bamboo and plum do not wither as the cold days deepen into the winter season unlike many other plants. Known by them as the Three Friends of Winter, they entered the conventions of East Asian culture. Together they symbolize steadfastness, perseverance, and resilience. They are highly regarded in Confucianism and as such represent the scholar-gentleman's ideal. The Three Friends of Winter are common in works of Chinese art and those cultures influenced by it. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the carving, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on under base, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Yongzheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
