Hollow carved field goose, Hart Carr Sr., Union Springs, New York, 1st quarter 20th century. Large body, hollow carved stick up decoy with removable head. 'III' painted on neck seat and underside of neck to match the correct head and body. Carved eyes. Carrying hole drilled in tail. Ink stamp on the underside for the collection of George Thomp

Condition
Original paint with minor to moderate wear; drying cracks in body; split in the underside; chip in underside of tail; piece of wood added to each side of neck seat to make it wider, done in the making; some repaint on neck and head.
