Description
A Great Masters of Mexican Folk Art: From the Collection of Fomento Cultural Banamex Catalog and Silver Money Clip with Wood Inlay Marks to clip: MEXICO, 25 12-3/4 x 10 inches (32.4 x 25.4 cm) (largest, book) 18 grams (weighable) This is the official catalogue for the major exhibit of Mexican folk art on display from October 7, 2001 to January 6, 2001 at the Dallas Museum of Art by the same name, curated by Dr. Venable. Since traveling there with my family as a young boy, I have always loved Mexico. Therefore, when I was asked to curate a major exhibition on Mexican folk art for the Dallas Museum of Art I was thrilled. It entailed visiting many of the country's greatest cities and in Guadalajara I purchased this modernist money clip. CV
