Additional Information: Another collaboration of design between Chet Helms and Wes Wilson, this poster features a photograph of a gorilla as the central theme and is known as “King Kong." The Family Dog logo, created by Wilson, makes its inaugural appearance in the upper left corner on this poster.
This poster is extremely rare and it is believed that the press run was well under 500 pieces. Very few survive today, making it one of the most expensive of the Family Dog series. As with other early Family Dog posters, the second print is quite reasonably priced and easily obtainable.
