Description
Complete conductor's signal lamp with intact blue globe, kerosene tank, burner, and wick. Top of the lantern is embossed // S. L. & U. R. R. // for the Salt Lake and Utah Railroad, an electric interurban line that commenced in 1914 between Salt Lake City and Payson, Utah. It eventually reached Provo Operations ceased in 1946. Lantern is about 9.25 inches tall, 6.5 inches across the base, and it is in very good condition. The bail hinge allows it to swing freely or be locked into a vertical position.
