Asahel Renick (1787-1840) was born in Hardy County, West Virginia, and married Harriet Love Scott (1811-1865) in Pickaway, Ohio on January 21, 1835. They lived there until his death in 1840. Harriet relocated to Columbus, Ohio, where she lived until her death in 1865.
