A fine early 19th century British Regency Period mahogany bookcase, decorated in the Egyptian manner with ebonized Pharaohs head capitals & ebonized stringing, the sectional marble top over a pair of glazed cupboard doors with pleated fabric panels fronting a shelved interior, flanked on either side by a pair of blind cupboard doors with shelved interiors - the interior of one with a brass plaque dedication "Presented to Clifford Morson Esq., By his sincere and grateful friend W.F. Archer, As a token of his eternal appreciation, For a great and successful operation, June 16th 1924", raised overall on ebonized lions paw feet, fading, minor splits. Dimensions, 64" high x 72.75" wide x 15" deep.
