WWI – WWII group to Lieutenant Colonel Francis C. Lewis of Davenport, North Dakota. In WWI he was with the 63rd and 5th Infantry, and in WWII in Alaska, UK, and France attached to various ports of embarkation as a Transportation Officer. Lot includes a bullion WWI Third Army patch, overseas bars, numbered infantry officers insignia, coffin style captain bars, his WWI dog tag. Also his numbered (1730) wrap brooch Mexican Border medal traceable to him, WWI Victory and Occupaton medals, WWII POE photo badge, rank and branch insignia, WWII dog tags, campaign medals, patches, and ID card. Paper includes copies of his records and discharge documents. The display case does not come with this group.
