Description
WWII group to Lt. Col. William R. Kern of Traer, Iowa, who was Assistant Adjutant General the 5th Major Port in Europe from 1942-45 and 8202nd AU in Far East Command, KMAG during the Korean War. Group includes his engraved Bronze Star, campaign medals, sterling CIB (not sure how this relates to his service- perhaps KMAG), Belgian Order of Leopold, Belgian Croix de Guerre, insignia and patches, and some copied research. The display case does not come with this group.
