Hispano-Moresque lusterware deep dish, 15th/16th C. style, with cobalt decoration, hand-painted, male figure with shield standing next to raring beast, flat rim over deep well, wear consistent with age and use including loss of finish to rim and scattered areas, one with repaired crack around circumference of well, sold as found, 2 1/4" h. x 14 1/4" diam.
