Description

For your consideration are a pair of Nymphenburg porcelain figures of rampant lions atop the Nymphenburg crest or shield. The figures, designed by Ernst Andreas Rauch, measure 3 3/4" in height and are marked on their undersides with the Nymphenburg maker's mark and the model number "705b/8". Together, the figures weigh 7.5 ounces.

Provenance: From the private collection of Katherine McPherson of Olmos Park, Texas.
