BIOGRAPHY:
For 31 years, Robert Krogle's paintings have been commissioned by book publishers, Fortune 500 companies, Hollywood, the recording industry, national theme parks and television. A portrait of Arnold Palmer was used for advertising his prestigious Ironwood Golf Club in Palm Springs, California and, over the years, Walt Disney, Six Flags and Universal Studios have commissioned Robert to do paintings that promote their theme parks throughout the United States.Forty of Robert's paintings for Dreamworks were published for the book "El Dorado" in conjunction with the release of the adventure movie in 2000. Other publishers requesting Robert's talents are Bantam Books, Random House, Little Brown Company and Penguin Publishing. His originals have also been aired on television shows.Robert's movie industry credits include the portraits of Bill Cosby, Beau Bridges, Gary Busey, Sean Connery and Jim Henson's Muppets. Paramount pictures called on Robert one year to paint their annual report cover and during the same year he painted for the Universal Studios Christmas card. Additional private and corporate commissions include Microsoft, Transamerica Corp., Coldwell Banker, Ringling Brothers and 1st Interstate Bank.Robert lectured at Long Beach State University, Art Center School of Design and Laguna School of Fine Art. His formal training originated at Chouinard Art Institute of Los Angeles and his works have been represented in New York, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Most recently, Robert's painting "Afternoon Delight" won the Best of Show Award at the 2001 Spokane Western Art Show.
