Existence (Mme Taquoy) (French, 20th c.) "Dimanche de la Pentecote," oil painting on board, signed. Framed. Existence is the nom de guerre of the wife of French painter Maurice Taquoy (1878-1952). Her works have been compared in France with the works of Grandma Moses. Provenance: Private Collection of Shirley and David Rowen, Beverly Hills, California. Size: 24'' x 20'', 61 x 51 cm (board); 31.5'' x 27.5'', 80 x 70 cm (frame).
