Description

20 S/M/L 19th & 20th century head buttons in assorted materials.
Some really nice examples are found in this lot from Alethe Allen's collection. The lot includes a realistic plaster Asian head created by the designer Elsa Schiaparelli, a wonderful silver lustered relief African head on black glass in metal, a carved cameo shell with a double cut steel border, paper, Burwood Egyptian, Battersea pewter, hallmarked silver and more.
