Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Incense Burner. Potted in shallow vessel form, thick and deep, globular body, emerging S shape flanked on the short neck with round opening mouth lip, raised with short three elephant legs. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of ducks swim through flowers bloom, foliage and water plants all in ruyi medallion surrounded with scrolling ruyi. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
