Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Blue and white porcelain jar pot. This jar pot has an open round mouth lip, with slight flaring rim, short neck, dome lid with finial bud, globular body, heavy on the shoulder, raised on round flat footed base. This porcelain in blue and white fine color, is an excellent object on exterior with many child's learning and playing on the garden palace bellow dense trees and flowers blooms. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. ?

The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
