Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Magpie Porcelain Moon Flat Bottle Vase. The porcelain potted in moon vase, thick and tall, globular moon lower belly, emerging ruyi flanked on the straight cylindrical neck, round mouth rim, raised on rectangle foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine design color, depicted of magpie hanging on the turdy branch tree interspersed fresh foliage and flowers bloom. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
