Chinese Ming Dynasty WanLi Wucai Pen holder. Potted in thick, globular lower body, gently tapered to straight cylindrical neck, dome lid with centre concave to input pen, raised with ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.On Neck base a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Wan Li Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
