Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Purple Gold Glazed Porcelain bowl On Carved Hardwood Stand. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring mouth rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Warm and uniform purple gold glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Gold is a color of completeness, wealth, metal, God consciousness, richness and nobility. Combinations of gold and red are seen on special occasions and is a winning color combination.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
