Note: After Brownfield & Sons ceased operations this design would be produced by Stonier & Co. Ltd., Liverpool, starting in 1891, as the "Crown" or "Miter" / "Mitre" pattern. The pattern would be adapted with the addition of the White Star line logo and used in their first-class dining rooms including that on the R.M.S. Titanic. It would also be used by other ocean liner companies of the era including the Red Star Line.
