ANTIQUE / VINTAGE SHIP'S BELL CLOCKS, LOT OF THREE, comprising a Chelsea example, retaining key, retailed by Chas. C. Hutchinson of Boston; a Seth Thomas example with ship's wheel case; and an early Seth Thomas example (c. 1880) mounted on wooden board retaining original printed label applied to reverse. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Chelsea example 8" HOA, 8 1/2" WOA, 4 3/4" DOA.
Provenance: From a Virginia private collection.

Condition

Chelsea example currently running and striking. Other examples of unknown working condition (see Catalogue Guarantee). Seth Thomas with lower bell of unknown completeness, lacking components, possibly incomplete movement.
