BASKET MINIATURE LAMP, cased pink glossy, square-form font with embossed basket-weave pattern, slightly lighter and mottled matching and as illustrated ribbed umbrella-form shade, period collar. Fitted with a Plume & Atwood Nutmeg burner, colorless slip chimney. Consolidated Lamp & Glass Co. Circa 1894. 7 H to top of shade, 3 1/4" H to top of collar, 2" SQ base.
Literature: Parallels Smith - Miniature Lamps I, p. 132, fig. 279.
Provenance: The collection of Larry Spradley, Beaumont, TX.

Condition

Very good condition, font undamaged, shade fitter with normal as-made minute flakes/roughness, rim with a single minor chip along with some roughness, possibly as made. Burner undamaged, chimney fitter with a shallow chip/roughness. Setup undamaged.
