Description
For your consideration is an exceptionally rare Copeland individual tea service in the "Floss" pattern. This rare configuration is so unique - an all-in-one teacup, saucer, snack plate, cream pitcher and sugar bowl. The "Floss" (blue) pattern is is applied to a beautifully 'swirled' china body and is made of period flourishes and floral decorations accented by heavy gold gilt rims. All pieces are marked with the "Copeland China England" mark that began to be used in 1847. Additionally, pieces carry an English registration marks from 1890. The under plate/saucer measures 9 1/8" in length, 6 1/4" wide and 1 1/2" in height. The teacup measures 4" from handle to opposite rim and is 2" in height. The cream pitcher measures 2 3/8" from handle to spout and is 1 3/4" in height. The open sugar bowl measures 1 1/4" in height and has a rim diameter of 1 3/4". The set weighs 1 pound.

Condition
Item is in excellent condition with no breaks, chips, heavy wear, loss of decoration or repair. There is a small hairline in the bottom of the teacup but this does not effect the cups ability to hold liquid (tested). This area is stable and will remain so with thoughtful use and appropriate storage. Please see all images and entire listing for more information on condition.
