For your consideration are a lot of (3) French & German Art Deco period articles. Included in the lot are a set of (6) laminated bakelite handled knives with stand, a desk or travel clock with bakelite surround and a desk frame. The handle on the knives have a beautifully designed triangular pattern consisting of black and reddish-brown or root beer-colored bakelite and stainless steel blades marked "Rustfri Solingen". Each knife is 6 1/2" in length and sits in a curved display made of root beer and butterscotch-colored bakelite. The bakelite clock has classic styling and is composed of butterscotch and green marbled bakelite. The clock measures 4 3/4" in width and is 4 1/8" in height. Finally, the frame is composed of a slightly marbled version of butterscotch bakelite. The bullet-shaped vertical bars sandwich two pieces of glass together to secure your treasured photo. All items have tested positively for bakelite. The weight of the lot is 1 pound, 1 ounce.

Items are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The movement on the clock looks to be modern and could have been replaced by the previous owner. The movement is battery-operated and needs servicing as its hands are loose. The movement is easily removed from the bakelite for repairing or replacing.
