A BLUE AND GREEN GROUND 'CITIPATI' THANGKA
Tibet, 19th century
On paper, depicting two central dancing skeletal protectors balancing on a conch shell, each holding a part of a human skull split in two, framed by other skeleton figures and suspended human skins, on the top three figures of lama and on the bottom a central figure of Bodhisattva holding a mandala. 77.5cm (30 1/2in) x 54.5cm (22 1/2in)
