Stennes, Weymouth, Mass. 5" with a painted metal dial marked "Elmer O. Stennes, Weymouth. Mass." and Arabic numerals also marked with a Bee at 6:00. Shaped Mahogany case with Gilded front having a Gilded Eagle finial above circular Brass upper door with applied Brass spheres and convex glass over a bowed throat glass with reverse painted decoration and Brass side arms over a circular lower door with wood spheres, convex glass with reverse painted Wedding scene decoration and a carved foliate carved drop. The case is stamped with "MCIP 71" for Massachusetts Correctional Institute, Plymouth, 1971. Minor case and finish wear, running when cataloged. 44 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $2,000-4,000
